One incredible store is Winter and Mann, which prides itself on only stocking products from small, sustainable and local businesses. Here you’ll find boutique pantry produce like coffee, condiments, and chocolate, they also sell unique art, handmade treasures like soap and various clothes – all from north Queensland producers. It’s no surprise this amazing store has an impressive five stars on google reviews!
You can also take a beautiful stroll along the Peterson Creek walking track. Developed by the Yungaburra Landcare Group, the track is around two and a half kilometres and has many points of interest, including the main attraction of the platypus viewing platform, where platypus are very common to see! There are many pleasant spots for a picnic, and a suspension bridge built above the creek that is also great for platypus spotting. You can also see freshwater turtles, tree kangaroos, pademelons and many different species of birds along the track.
